Pronounciation

Pronounciation is always problem with people from foreign countries. Listening to the radio or cassette for pronounciation book is one of good solution for improving these skills. However, these materials has a big problem, that is to say recorded by formal English speaker. We can easily hear our techers' English because they speak proper English. But, when I go out to the city, circumstances will be chenged dramatically. I sometimes cannot understand what people who walk around in town said. Because they do not use proper English. We can say same thing for our classmate. Their pronounciation which is based on their own countries is getting confuse me. This is the only way of solution that we have to adjust them anyway. In other words, we have to have a oppotunity to communicate them.By the way, I think that comparing between pronounciation in your own laguage and English is the worst way of leraning pronounciation. This is because my own laguage, Japanese are completely defferent with English. This is a totally pointless. If I were French speaker, it may be good though.
