London Visit (Task7)

I went to Tate Modern a couples of weeks ago.
In this garalley, a variety of art is exhabited, especially modern art.

To be honest, I am not interested in art work itself.
But, this musuem was something attract to me.
It is hard to explain....
All of art work in this museum is completly defferent from other museum.
When I went to this museum and saw these arts at first time, I thought.... This is not art.
For instance, there is a blocks which just was piled up one on top of another.
Is this art?

Another is much more curious.
There is a painting, but nothing.
Nothing is drawing and painting.

It just cut at centre of painting with knife!! That's it!!
I do not know how to discribe my feeling.
If you care about that, you are better to go there definitely!
I sorongly recommend it.

pronounciation(task15)

Pronounciation

Pronounciation is always problem with people from foreign countries. Listening to the radio or cassette for pronounciation book is one of good solution for improving these skills. However, these materials has a big problem, that is to say recorded by formal English speaker. We can easily hear our techers' English because they speak proper English. But, when I go out to the city, circumstances will be chenged dramatically. I sometimes cannot understand what people who walk around in town said. Because they do not use proper English. We can say same thing for our classmate. Their pronounciation which is based on their own countries is getting confuse me. This is the only way of solution that we have to adjust them anyway. In other words, we have to have a oppotunity to communicate them.By the way, I think that comparing between pronounciation in your own laguage and English is the worst way of leraning pronounciation. This is because my own laguage, Japanese are completely defferent with English. This is a totally pointless. If I were French speaker, it may be good though.

I think that I still have speaking problem...
Listenig, Vocabraly and Academic skill has improved a littele bit.

Honestly, I don't have any solution for that...
But, I always try to 'Don't be nervous'.
(It's not easy though...)

Weblearn language resourses (task13)

Listening to lectures


As far as Webleran laguage resourses is concerned, I recommend you all 'listening to lectures.'
I think this is the most important basic skill when we go through advanced course. in the university, we have to listen to lectuer and then write down an essay. If you did not understand what lecturer said, this has to be big problem. However, it is not easy to understand clearly for non-native speaker. In addition, there are many lecturer who has different pronouciation. For instance, even English people do sometimes not understand what Scottish said. The only way of solution in this problem is that we have to practice for listening again and again.
I also recommend to watch TV program except news program as other way of solution. This is because person who appear on and read article use proper English. In fact, there is no grantee that your lecturer will use proper English. At end of the day, we need ability which can correspond all speaker. I think this is the most important skill we need. If you have already had this abillity, it should be fine.
